Once we had this idea, we came up with various ways of developing it. Amongst these we chose to use our hands and feet to represent us and to express our idea of pushing boundaries by breaking the paper. Because when the paper separates us it is as if we exist in two worlds and the two sides of the paper symbolise two different worlds. So in the creation of the paper we wanted to represent the two different worlds through our different paintings. When the hands are joined together it symbolises that we are communicating and entering into different worlds.
